The convocation is a time when we focus on our academic mission. The ceremony begins
with a procession of the faculty in their colorful academic robes. Our president welcomes
the new class of first year students. Then the high point of the convocation - a
series of speakers who will address this year's theme, "Transforming Hearts
and Minds.
The Core Humanities Program has prepared some study questions to help
freshmen students prepare for the talk. Other faculty and
staff are also invited to review the study questions.
