Don't Turn Your Back on God
et no one say:
"I am leaving the monastery because monks are not the only ones who
can reach the kingdom of God; those outside the monastery also belong to
God."
Those outside the monastery certainly belong to God; but they have not taken vows (common life and continence). You, however, have taken them, and now you are going back on them.
